Website enquiries

When you submit a contact form or Performance Review request, Tether receives the details you provide, such as name, work email, company, role, market, building count, selected topic, and message content. We use this information to respond to the enquiry and understand the relevant building-performance pathway.

UK MouldWatch deployments

For United Kingdom MouldWatch by Tether deployments, TetherHQ Limited is the UK data-controller entity for deployment-specific enquiry and resident-risk workflow data unless a signed customer agreement states otherwise. Website enquiries still route through hello@tetherhq.com so the right UK specialist can respond.

Imagery on this website is used to explain Tether's work and should not include private customer records, fake customer logos, fake partner marks, fake rating labels, or readable confidential information.

The screening assessment

The homepage offers a free screening assessment. You select the outcomes you care about, give us the building basics, and upload one to four utility bills. Tether reads the bills with a Claude language model and returns a tailored screening view that shows where your asset sits and names the opportunities worth chasing. The view is banded, not pointed, and never quotes per-intervention savings.

What you give us, and when

When you submit the assessment, we collect the bill files you uploaded and the inputs you entered (goals, role, market, topology, floor area, vintage, operating profile, upgrades already done, and any free-text notes). The bills are read by the model only to prepare your view. They are not used to train any model and are not shared with any third party.

When you see your view and submit the lead form to save it, we then collect your name, work email, and the optional fields (mobile, company, role) you choose to share. Your follow-up consent is recorded immutably with the lead.

Where things are stored

Until you submit the lead form, your bills and the structured view live only in Tether's encrypted storage, keyed to a random assessment id. Anonymous assessments never reach Tether's internal Notion record. They sit in encrypted storage long enough for you to come back and submit the lead form, then are auto-purged.

Once you submit the lead form, Tether creates a record in the internal Notion funnel that links your assessment view, your lead details, and your follow-up consent state. The bill files stay in encrypted storage and are auto-purged twelve months after upload. Notion records persist until deletion is requested.

To follow up promptly, submitting the lead form also notifies Tether's internal sales channel. That alert normally links to the internal record and carries only non-identifying context (building type and market). Your contact details appear in it only as a fallback, if the primary record cannot be saved at that moment.

Telemetry

Tether records anonymous step-by-step events while you use the assessment (which step you reached, whether a file was attached, whether the model returned a result) so we can measure where the flow needs work. These events are keyed to a randomly-generated session id stored in your browser. No bill content, IP address, or full user-agent string is logged.

Sharing your view

Each completed assessment has a private share link of the form /assessment/<id>. The id is a random UUID, so the link is essentially unguessable, but anyone you send it to can open it. Treat the link like a password.

Requesting deletion

You can request deletion of your bill files, your assessment view, and your lead record at any time by emailing hello@tetherhq.com. We delete the bill blob and the Notion records on receipt and reply to confirm.

Use the subject line "Delete my assessment" for assessment deletion, or "Delete my enquiry" for contact-form records. If you are not sure which record applies, send the request anyway and we will trace it.
