Terms of service.

These terms cover use of the public Tether website. Separate written terms apply to Performance Reviews, product deployments, partner work, and any paid engagement with Tether.

Who you are contracting with

Tether operates as three legal entities under one master brand. Commercial work in New Zealand and Australia is contracted through Tether Limited (NZBN 9429041119358, Suite G.5, 317 New North Road, Kingsland, Auckland 1021). European deployments are contracted through Tether B.V. (Netherlands). United Kingdom work, including MouldWatch by Tether and Better Buildings by Tether deployments, is contracted through TetherHQ Limited. The contracting entity is confirmed in writing for each engagement.

Website information

The information on this website is provided to explain Tether's services, products, outcomes, and market view. It is general information only and is not a promise that a specific building will achieve a particular saving, rating, valuation, compliance result, or commercial outcome.

Commercial work

Any Performance Review, product deployment, partner pathway, or delivery work is scoped separately. Scope, timing, responsibilities, fees, data access, confidentiality, and deliverables are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Partner deployments and Powered by Tether attribution

Where a Tether platform, dataset, modelling output, evidence pack, or delivery layer is deployed by a partner under that partner's customer-facing brand, the partner agreement requires "Powered by Tether" attribution on every customer-facing surface, including page footers, the about or help area, onboarding flows, exported reports, recommendations, eligibility outputs, certification pathways, and evidence packs.

Removing or reducing this attribution requires Tether's written approval.

Confidentiality and customer data

Customer data shared under Performance Reviews, product deployments, partner work, and paid engagements is governed by the confidentiality and data-handling terms in the relevant written agreement. These website terms cover public-website use only.

Intellectual property

Tether owns or licenses the content, design, trademarks, product names, and materials on this website unless stated otherwise. You may link to public pages, but you may not copy or reuse Tether materials in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or ownership without written permission.
